5 months old!!

Last weeks post was acting up and for some reason I was unable to add all of the pictures and comments that I wanted so... I am going to incorporate some of them into this post.  I hope everyone is doing well and getting ready for the fall weather!
My sister-in-law is in the country and has a son just 3 weeks older than J.  I was able to take J up to Baxley, GA and let her meet her aunt and cousing (James).  Since J is a cuddle bug she curled up and fell a sleep on Aunt Kasey's chest.  Great bonding time....

J giving Aunt Kasey some lovin'

Grandma Susan was having a blast with two of the three grandkids together.  She couldnt keep her hands off of James or J.  It would be nice if J and James lived closer together, so they could grow up together.
Grandma Susan holding J up!

Our daily venture to daycare always allows for some great morning pictures.  Wide awake an ready to conquer the day...

Its NOT easy being a Princess!!
Much to J's daddys dismay, she had to wear a blue dress and an orange hairbow on her head for the opening college football weekend.  GO GATORS!  Daddy wasnt happy, but he can buy her GA outfits and dress her in them.
Good morning.  I dont like to get out of my pajamas on the weekends!!

After dropping J off at daycare one morning, I couldnt help but snap this cute photo opportunity!

Tonight we decided to go watch grandpa race at North Florida Speedway (in Lake City), but by the time we got to the track... grandpa had already wrecked his car and he was out for the night.  It stinks that he wrecked the car, but it was nice to spend time with them at the stock car track.

We were able to take the 5 month pictures.  She is getting big and it is getting harder to get her to stay still.

This was a great morning (and no I didnt pose her)!

Just shy of month 5

Hello everyone.  I feel like such a slacker (by not updating the blog) but I have been extremely busy with work.  Anyways, it is no excuse for not updating this site.
Since the last post we have accomplished numerous milestones such as:
Laughing (belly laughing)
Eating baby food (She LOVES pears)
Getting better with neck strength
Loves standing up and sitting up.
So....lets see.....
Well.... Grandpa and Grandma have lots of fun dressing up J and taking pictures

Yes that is grandpas wig that he wears when he is trying to turn heads while riding his motorcycle

I am just about big enough to eat at the breakfast bar!!!
Once of my favorite pictures (Grandpas hand and Js hand)
In addition to spending time at grandpa's house, we spent time with Mrs. Kimmy and Mr. Dustin.  I think Mrs. Kimmy was jealous that J was enjoying being held by Mr. D!  I honestly believe that she was more interested in playing with everything on the table, but she was super grumpy that night and showed her true J colors!!

So we have had numerous doctors appointments with Dr. Mauldin (who might I say is the BEST pediatrician around).  At her 4.5 month check up we ended up with the following statistics:
18.2 lbs= 95th percentile
27 inches long= 99th percentile
The pediatricians predictions is that she is going to be a "6ft tall, skinny knockout!!"  I will take that comment any day about my lil (well BIG) one.
Me and my lil one waiting on the doctor!
