Month 10

Amazingly we are at month 10!  Just the other day Jaydyn had her 9 month check-up and the doctor informed us that the she is BIG!

Weight: 94%
Height: >99%
Head Circumfrince: >99%

Luckily she is healthy and chunky! Hopefully she will end up being tall and skinny.  I love writing this blog monthly.  It allows me to reflect on the past month and all of the changes our little one is going through.  So lets start with some pictures and some stories behind them:

On 1.11.13 mom and I were waiting for dad to finish golfing so we stopped at Panda Exprss and mom gave me a green bean.  Man those things are awesome.

1.13.13-  So... mom decided to check out the effectiveness of a mesh feeder with blueberries, blackberries, and strawberries.  Granted they were frozen and tasted REAL good on my gums, I had a lot of fun playing with them.  At one time I was actually rubbing the juice all over my stomach.  Grandpa saw he pictures and wanted to make sure that the juices didnt stain my face.  Prooff no staining is in the 4th picture.  This was after my bath.

1.17.13- At daycare I was showing off my thighs and my newest sign "Eat."  Mom was super excited to see the proper use of signing.

1.18.13- Instead of large boxes and doll houses, Jaydyn likes to crawl up under the coffee table to hide out.  This time she found the LED flashlight and was having fun shining it all over everything.

1.22.13
Snuggling with Daddy in bed!

1.24.13-  I know that Jaydyn was dressed up in UGA clothing, but it was the closest we could find to Atlanta Falcons attire.

On 1.25.13, we were proud enough to have Aunt Kasey and Cousin James show us a visit here in Jacksonville.  This was not only great seeing the two play together for the first time, but to see how they interacted together.  The two are 21 days apart and hopefully will group up with a strong bond. Eventhough they live across the pond, we would like to see them more often.

While shopping with mom on 1.26.13, she subjected me to a swimmers cap.  I truly couldnt resist putting the hat on her head.  Jaydyn wasnt happy, but she was a good sport.

1.27.13- Jaydyn has now determined that she loves pickle spears.  I an attempt to prove to her that she wouldnt like the taste of a pickle, Jaydyn in return ate a whole pickle spear (leaving only the rhine).

1.29.13-  Jaydyn ran around the house in the walker.   I turned around to see why she had gotten extremely quiet, only to discover that she was a sleep.  She fell a sleep watching TV.

1.30.13 - Jaydyn was crawling all over the house and loved her tutu.

2.3.13- Since I had to work the weekend, Jaydyn spent one day with grandma and grandpa.  She enjoyed looking at the flowers and of course pulling the flower buds off of the plants.  Grandma has a lot of teaching to do with flowers.

2.5.13- Jaydyn had her 9 month check-up and we confirmed that she has clean ears and that there isn't much that they can do for someone who is prone to ear infections.  For the first time in 8 weeks, Jaydyn is ear infection free.

Thanks Aunt Tara for the wonderful outfit.

On the way to daycare I generally fall a sleep and mom has to wake me up to take me into daycare.  This morning I didnt want to wake-up and fell back asleep on moms chest.  I love to cuddle. I am also very nosey.  You can see in the photo above hat I have the ability to crook my neck around to see who is walking into the daycare center. I am the welcoming committee.

I do have to say that this is one of my favorite photos.  Jaydyn crawled up in the mini rocker at grandpas and started rocking.  What a sweetie!

So the story goes like this.  Mom was at work when grandma sent mom a picture of me wearing moms old glases.  Mom told me that she about spit out her drink laughing so hard.  In 3rd grade grandma took mom to the eye doctor only to find out that mom needed glasses. They let mom pick out her glasses (the ones seen above) after they had dialiated her eyes (not to bright).  So a few weeks later when mom had to go back to pick up her glasses, she told the eyedoctor that they were not the glasses that she had picked out, but the adults still made mom take the glasses.  The next day grandma sent mom to school with a letter to give the teacher.  I cried when I handed the letter to the teacher because it was telling the teacher that mom had to wear her glasses during reading.  Mom was sooooooooooo embarassed that she cried during reading for the next few weeks.  She was so embrassed with the glasses.

So as I thought that I had finally gotten rid of the glasses I was e-mailed a picture from my stepmom with Jaydyn wearing the glasses.  I guess these glasses will haunt me for many more years.

Here are my 10 month pictures (I am growing quick)-
