Months 11 & 12

While I realize that I am a little late in updating the blog for months 11 and 12, The Wellborn’s are elated to announce that our baby Jaydyn has turned 1.  She is no longer a infant, she is a toddler that has made great developments over the past two months.  Since February 17th (last posting) we have successfully met many milestones:   (1) say “mommy” and “daddy” (2) walking on her own (3) graduated from soy formula to whole milk, and (4) is eating adult food.

Growing BIG!  2.18.13

2.18.13

On 3.5.13- as a family we went to the command Easter cookout and egg hunt.  Although we didnt participate in the Easter egg hunt, I do have to say that she sure did look darn cute in her dress.

Jaydyn and her daddy.  They are getting to be two peas in a pod.

On the base, the Easter egg hunt was held by the soccer field (which has astro-turf).  While J is just learning to how to walk, she was more interested in figuring out the grass.  NOTE: She didnt like the feel of it on her feet.

J certainly has her mommas hair.  This is a picture of her standing up in her crib first thing in the morning while I was getting her clothes together for daycare.  As goofy as she looks, I look forward to seeing her little smile out from the corner of her pacifier.  Makes it worth getting up WAAAY too early for work.

KinderCare is an excellent daycare and they keep even the toddlers in the loop for SPIRIT days.  Today Jaydyn participated in Pajama day.  Pajama's + Pig Tails= FUN!!

Good Morning Blue Eyes 2.21.13

Although munchkin wasn't feeling well (with... YES another ear infection).
We were sitting at the doctors office waiting for her to get checked out!

2.23.13- So... anyone who knows the family or has spent time with the family, know that we love to eat at La Nopalara.  There is no doubt that this kid is a mix of Chad and me.  She is sitting pretty in her high chair and waiting on the waiter to bring her, her plate of refried beans.  YUM! YUM!

2.28.13- Still getting BIG! Growing so quick that she barely fits in her car seat
3.4.13- Its was cold outside, so we had to wear the poloar bear jacket atleast one more time.  I just loved teh softness of the jacket and the ears on the hoodie.

3.7.13- It was once again a cold day, but I couldnt resist her red stocking cap with tassles since it matched her Nautica outfit.  She didnt want to take it off when we got to daycare.

3.9.13- I had to work one weekend day, so Jaydyn went to hang out with her Mimi.  While she was there Mimi opened a boy that was from Aunt Linda and Uncle Jim.  It had a little pink bunny that sang "Here comes Peter Cotton Tail" while its ears and cotton tail shook.  Jaydyn liked the bunny rabbit, but I do have to say.....  I think she liked the box it came in better.

3.10.13-  I believe that this is one of my favorite pictures of Jaydyn.  She had a cute outfit on and her hair looked cute.  First thing that morning.... while I was putting an 18 month outfit on my 11 month old daughter, it would not fit over her head.  I had to make a slit in the back of the outfit to get it over her head. The cute outfit lasted shortly, she ripped the trim from the bottom of the top while crawling and then smeared blueberries all over the front.  Thank goodness for a seam ripper, Shout stain remover, and a sewing machine the top ended up looking new again.

3.11.13- Jaydyn is 11 months old.

3.15.13-  After two days of sneezing and a runny nose, we once again found ourselves back at the doctors office.  This time she just looked misearable.  I took her to daycare that morning, thinking that she was only congested, but within a matter of hours they called me to let me know that she had white matter coming out of her eyes and just looked out of it.  So we found out that we were on ear infection #7, conjunctivitus, and allergies.  Poor girl went on two difference medicines (1- oral and 1- eye drops).

3.20.13- Watching TV and standing up all on her own.

3.21.13- Standing at daycare and about to have a fun day.

3.22.13- How sweet!  Jaydyn is sleeping and smiling while talking to the ANGELS!  I believe that children talk to the angels while they sleep.  The innocence of children is at times the best therapy.

3.24.13-  After about 30 minutes of fussing and eating all of her dinner, she got quiet.  I was cleaning up the kitchen and then turned around, to find that she was OUT!!  Too cute.

Getting BIG and having fun!

3.25.13- Rub a dub-dub, J is having fun in the tub!  I was able to get some SUPER cute pictures, but I realize that she may be able to see this blog when she gets older, so I have decided to only post the internet worthy photos (lol!).

Passed out in her crib with her Glow Worm doll.  She still loves to sleep with her hands over her head.  I guess that means that she is trusting and comfortable.
3.28.13- Riding her snail rocker.  Thanks mom and pops for the rocker.

Smart enough to use the "1" candle as a handle and eat the cupcake from the bottom. She doesnt really care about the icing, only the cake.
