June- October 2013 (Months 14 - 17)

Okay.... So I know that I have been TOTALLY slacking the past 5 months, but we (as a family) have had some major changes.  I am going to do my best to capture the past 5 months to the best of my ability.  Jaydyn has grown by leaps and bounds and I am happy and sad at the same town.  My lil "Baby J" is no longer a "baby" she is offically a "TODDLER" (Yes that was a little sigh and possibly a little bit of a tear in my eye). Soooo.... Jaydyn had tubes put in her ears and I am proud to say that we have been ear infection free for the past 5 months (knock on wood)!

June 15. 2013- For some reason Jaydyn has an infatuation with my shoe rack and loves to take each pair of shoes off of the shelves and try them on.  Ocassionally she will look at me and say "HELP HELP HELP HELP" until I put them on her feet.  Tinkerbell pajamas and Sketchers shoes (PRICELESS!)
June 17, 2013- Anyone who has followed my blog since I was pregnant (knew that I had some major heartburn) and that this kid would have a lot of hair.... well..... she still hasnt lost any of it and it is just plain wild. I had her hair french braided in two braids, so she ended up with some kind of clown hair-do when I took it out of the bands for her bath.
Good thing that water controls it (well.... sometimes)
June 25, 2013- I absolutely love Jaydyns daycare.  They take great care of her, take pictures of her, and make my little one smile.  The next three pictures are of my lil one just being her.
(Picture 1) I am just one big ol' bundle of laughs and funnies!!
 (Picture 2) Cheeeeeeeeessssseeeee!!!!
(Picture 3) You want me to do what???  Mini Chad has formed and is in full force! LOL

June 28, 2013- Jaydyn just loves wearing her daddys hats.  Unfortunately this is his Jack Daniels one!

July 2, 2013-  We decided to take a day trip up to Lizella, Georgia to see Aunt Kasey, Cousin James, Nana, Pops, and Great Grandma Richter.  Jaydyn met her cousin James for the second time and these two had a blast playing together.  They are exactly 3 weeks apart and I would love for them to grow up together. When we got to great grandmas house James greeted Jaydyn with a HUGE hug which resulted in both of them falling and Jaydyn hitting her head.  James was just so excited to see J, he couldn't control himself.   We may have been off to a rough start, but as you can see the two were inseparable for the rest of the day.
Jaydyn explaining to James their escape plan......
I know that Nana was having a great day with two of her grandkids, but these kids were taking over.  They were giving her a run for her money.  Jaydyn didnt want anything to do with Nana until James was on her lap.  So eventually Nana gave in and figured out how to hold both at the same time, without being knocked over.
That evening we all went to dinner at a Japanese Steakhouse and sat at the Hibachi tables with the lil ones.  James ate like a champ (salads and all) while Jaydyn only wanted James' snack cup.  James was a sport and let Jaydyn eat out of his cup.
Even when James wanted a puff from his cup, Jaydyn would throw a fit and say MINE!  Eventually James would get his puffs back, but it took him some work.
July 4, 2013-  Happy 4th of July!!!!  This was a great weekend to get away with the family and a few family friends to Steinhatchee, Florida for some fishing and scalloping.  This would be Jaydyn's first time on the boat and it appears that she was ready to go.  We stayed in Perry, Fla but drove in the mornings to the Sea Hag Marina to launch the boat.
Jaydyn trying out her life jacket for the first time.  It didnt seem to bother her too much until she needed to lean over and pick something up off of the ground.
Hanging out for the first boat ride, on daddy's boat!
Sporting the 4th of July outfit in Steinhatchee, Florida
Jaydyn and Cheyanna sitting on the step, waiting for the guys to return from a full day of fishing!
 Daddys back!!! Smile daddy!!!!
Not only does Jaydyn not realize that she is the youngest of the crowd, she also doesnt realize that she is the only girl standing there to catch the football that is being thrown.  Its a shame that at this point she doesnt know how to catch a football.  She will learn, sweet baby girl you are from the south.... you will learn quickly.
After a long day of fishing, scalloping, and running around... Jaydyn has passed out in style.  This was also her first time sleeping in a hotel.  I brought her pack-n-play for her to sleep in, but she was not about it.  Every time I tried to place her in the pack-n-play she would wake up and start crying.   While in the hotel bed, she was out like a light.  Guess who gave in?  (Ummmm..... Yes it was me!)
July 9, 2013- I really love this picture of J.  This was taken outside of daycare.  She wanted her backpack on and when we got to the car, she wanted to sit down on the curb and place each and every leaf on the concrete back into the mulch area.  She kept saying "UH OH!" each time she picked up a leaf and moved it.  I had patience for about 10, then I was quickly over it and decided that it was time to go in order to avoid traffic.
July 10, 2013- This is just proof that Jaydyn can't wait to get into daycare to see the Miss Sara's and Miss Ashley.  She could care less that I go to work, she is ready to have fun and play with her friends.
That evening we decided to go eat with Mimi at 4Rivers.  Jaydyn looks like a little bird eating her macaroni and cheese.
July 13, 2013- Jaydyn is getting a first hand look of the XBox 360.  She loves to sit on daddy's lap. play with the keyboard, and watch him play his video game.  UGH!  This is going to drive me crazy if she gets into video gaming like her daddy.
The same evening, she was out like a light.... Cuddling with her doll in her crib.
July 15, 2013- Man this kid knows how to sleep sound, but she also knows how to cuddle.
 Me and mini Chad
 Daddy with his lil lady!
July 19, 2013- So occasionally I have to work weekends and Chad has to work, so Jaydyn goes to either one of her grandparents house.  This weekend, Jaydyn spent the days with Mimi.  This kid loves animals and would spend the whole day out on Mimi's front porch with the cats and kittens if we would let her.  The kitten that J is petting is wild and for some reason the kitten let her get close enough to it to pet the lil one.  This just melted my heart.  She has the same love for animals as her mommy!
Patiently waiting for the kittens to come back to eat!
Its lunch time at Mimi's and J is in a great mood.  Looking so much like a toddler.
Her hair is getting long.  I am hoping to let it grow long enough for her first haircut to have her hair donated to Locks For Love.
Bath time! (I just love this picture and had to include it in the blog)  She looks just like a little angel.
June 28, 2013-  This was a beautiful morning out on the boat on the St. Johns River.  It was an early morning, but I think that the sunrise was well worth the alarm clock going off at 5am.
July 29, 2013- While at Wal-Mart I couldnt pass up the Mini Mouse kids couch/lounger.  It didnt take her too long to understand what she was supposed to do with it and quickly adapted to hanging out there with her sippy cup.
Also she grabbed one of Chads XBox controllers.  I wonder where she learned this from?

July 30, 2013- Man I love this kid.  We are about to head into daycare!
 Smile!!
August 5, 2013- Look at those beautify blue eyes,  This is the last picture of Jaydyn drinking out of a bottle.  Effective August 5, 2013, we are a BOTTLE FREE HOUSEHOLD!!!! All of the bottles (except 1- just in case) went into the trash can.
August 10, 2013- Day at the zoo.  It was hot, but she loved hanging out on the rocks by the elephant area.  She loves to people watch.
After the zoo, I put her in a clean diaper and she was passed out by the time we got out of the parking lot of the zoo.
August 11, 2013-  We are keeping it classing in Wal-Mart.  She fell a sleep on the way to the store and didnt wake up when I got her out of her car seat.  The only other option was to lay her in the shopping cart.  You should have seen the looks that I got when I was going down aisles.  Her legs were hanging over like no other.
 Little Angel!
August 29, 2013- Grandpa and Jaydyn on the tractor at Papi's house.  They were in the backyard pulling out daddys boat to go to Steinhatchee, Florida.  J loves her Papi!
J sitting in Grandma Jeanne's greenhouse giving the rooster a kiss.
August 30, 2013-  First day in Steinhatchee and ready for the boat.
Passed out on the boat!  What a trooper!
Once she woke up, she was joined at her daddys hip.  She wanted to help drive the boat.

Woooooohhhhh!!! This is a great breeze!!!                  Thanks Miss Amber for some Cheetos!

Chad's great king catch of the day!  This made for some great steaks that evening!  Mmmmmmm!!
Jaydyn (AKA Tombo) is wearing Miss Sharons hat!  The nickname of Tombo was given to Jaydyn by Miss Sharon when she was born.  I think the name is fitting.
September 4, 2013- Was Super Hero day at daycare.  In true Wellborn style we had to go for it 100%.
September 6, 2013- So while I was dropping Jaydyn off at Mimi's house, she was running down the sidewalk, tripped over her own feet, and ended up with a scuffed up nose.  On the left it is a picture of Chad with his scuffed up nose and Jaydyn on the right.  Is this a mini Chad?
September 7, 2013- While at work one day, Chad had daddy duty.  When I got home that evening, she had a zebra flannel shirt on, owl printed pants, Finding Nemo pacifier clip, porcupine pacifier, and two different hair bows.  Well.... I cant complain, she had clothes on and was clean.  Great job daddy!
September 20, 2013-  Unfortunately yes she is dressed in UGA.  I lost a bet while being pregnant.  It was that who ever won the game that year (2011) is what Jaydyn would be dress in until she was old enough to choose her own team.  Either way, Nana purchased this UGA shirt for Jaydyn.  The reason that the number is 03 is because she is the third grandchild.

September 21, 2013- Starting potty training in her new TINKERBELL bathroom.

September 28, 2013- Out at the Riverside Arts Market-  Jaydyn taking a break!!
Yes she is playing in a low fountain.  The sad thing is that this fountain is not fit for human consumption.  This is the dogs water fountain!  UGH!  Where is my hand sanitizer?
                                                               I LOVE this kid!
October 1, 2013-  Brushing her teeth after her bath.  She is required to sit down while brushing her teeth, ironically she chooses to sit on the scale in her bathroom!
October 2, 2013- Jaydyn has not realized that she can see herself on my phone and always wants to see herself in the phone.
October 8, 2013-  Strolling down the hallway getting ready for school!
October 9, 2013- Jay loves feeding the dogs and helping daddy in the backyard with the grill.
 Cheeze!
 Time to EAT EAT EAT!!!
October 19, 2013- Summer weather is almost over!  Gotta get in one last sun dress!
October 22, 2013- Waiting at the doctors office for Jaydyns 1.5 yr check-up.  It is amazing what a year of growth has done for her.  She is growing up way to quick!
.
October 23, 2013-  It was a cold morning out so Jaydyn finally got to wear the sweather her great grandma made.

Daddy came home from work and Jaydyn ran to go see him!

October 26, 2013- First official pumpkin carving.

October 27, 2013- Back at the Jacksonville ZOO!

October 31, 2013-  Its Halloween!

Happy Halloween Everyone!  I promise that I will not take too long to write the next posts.  I have been completing homework and got a bit sidetracked. I recently finished my Masters Degree, so the reading material and paper kept me pretty darn busy.
Thank you for reading my blog- Amy Wellborn
