This past month has been a whirl wind, but here are a few pictures with captions of the last month.
4.12.13- J is finally feeling better and is starting to feel back to her old self.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.15.13- J had fun eating some mashed potatoes and was trying to feed herself. At the time of these pictures, she had been undressed and was ready to get into the bathtub. She loved watching herself in the reverse photo function on the iphone.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.16.13- Little Miss Drama Queen was enjoying sitting in the infant pillow at daycare. She just didn't want to wake up this morning and I wish that I could have been lazy enough to stay home with her, but mommy has to make the $$$$.
The same evening, I got J in her PJs and she went into the kitchen to find her daddy and to get some animal crackers. Of course she has daddy wrapped around her finger. That's daddy's little SWEETPEA!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.17.13- Jaydyn and Grandma Jeanne spent some quality time together. J just loves to cuddle.
Once home that night, Jaydyn wanted to help me do the dishes. Well not necessarily do the dishes, but she wanted to play with the flap that closes the dishwasher soap area and also pull all of the silverware out of the compartment on the door (you can see there is no silverware in the gray basket on the left photo). Muchkin looks like Pippy Longstocking, but can ROCK some pigtails.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.18.13- Js first pony tail. It looks soooo funny with her not having all of her hair the same length. The next few weeks lead to some new hair styles.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.23.13- You would think that these photos should be reversed, when you hear the story behind them. The first picture is at daycare in the morning, when I dropped J off. I am on the outside of the door and she is in the infant room. She closed the door and was smiling as I left. The picture on the right is a picture of her at the same door in the afternoon when I came to pick her up. She doesn't seem to pleased to see me!. You would think that she would be sad when I left and happy when I came to get her.... NOPE!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.26.13- It was a beautiful day outside, we decided to walk out to the front porch and enjoy the breeze. Originally Jaydyn didn't want to walk on the grass, until..... DADDY came to the rescue.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.10.13- These photos were taken earlier in the month, but we didn't get the copies until later in the month of April. She has per PRINCESS waive on, too cute!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5.2.13- The top left photo is a great photo. Daddy passed out with lil J.
Also the other two photos are once AGAIN back at the doctors office. She was diagnosed with strep throat.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5.4.13- J wanted to go through my sewing cabinet
s and she pulled out 4 metal rings that go on an infant cover up. Where does she get these girly tendencies from.
I love my little angel. She is such a Happy Baby!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5.11.13- Grandpa got Jaydyn a swing, so they were having fun. Not only does she like to swing high, she sticks out her tongue! LOL
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Random happy go lucky photos! We were headed home from daycare on afternoon and she was just full of smiles and talking up a storm.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was raining outside, so we decided to open the windows and air out the house. Jaydyn had fun watching the rain come in onto the window sills and playing with the water.
So I attempted to French braid her hair and was somewhat successful. Since she will doesn't have all of the hair gown in at the base of her hairline in the back, we had to stop with just the front braid. Not bad, but still STINKING cute (in my mind)!

On 5.13.13, Mom was stress more than Jaydyn about the tube surgery. It is a good thing that she had no clue about what was going to happen. We arrived at Wolfsons Childrens Hosptial at 6am and her surgery was scheduled for 8am. We had to be there early for check-in. Before going back to the prep area we played in the waiting area (while still in the pj's with of course a hair bow).
While waiting for the doctors, Jaydyn decided to take a break from everyone who was walking into the room. She passed out on my chest and I transferred her to the crib/bed.
The surgery went excellent and she was out of surgery after approx. 15 minutes. The doctor came out to tell me that all went well and that I could go back and see her. Once I got back there, she was sitting up resting on a pillow (barely picking up her head). After we got her woke up, she drank a whole bottle of milk and a cup of Gatorade, then they sent us home. We left the hospital by 9am. The one thing that J decided she wasn't giving up was the anesthesia mask. I guess she wanted a souvenir. You can see where her fingers are stuck in the mask (death grip) in the photo below.
We had to stop and get her medicine. Needless to say she is a TROOPER!
This past month has been a whirlwind of changes, sicknesses, and work. I truly hope that the surgery for J, will alleviate the pain and fevers she has been experiencing for the past year. Hopefully this was the right choice. We will got back to the ENT next month to determine if the tubes have helped her hearing.
I want to say THANK YOU everyone who is reading this blog and the support of friends and family!
