Christmas and Month 9

So a mental note has been made for last year.  Do not wait until the week before Christmas to have pictures taken with Santa.  I decided that at noon on Sunday to go to the Orange Park Mall.  First noon on Sunday is bad, but I stood in line for 2 hours for a 30 second photo.  Since Jaydyn is just learning to crawl she has carpet burn on her nose from not being able to coordinate her hands and feet while going fast.
Look at my rug burn!  I am still cute though!

Waiting to see Santa

As we went up to Santa, he asked "how is she going to react?"   I looked at him (while putting J on his knee) and said, "I am not sure, but lets make this fast."   As I was backing away from her she was looking at me..... (here is the snap shot)

She looked at Santa.....

Then looked back at me....

Christmas has come and gone.  Growing up I couldnt wait for Christmas morning to come so I could get up and see what santa had brought to me.  All the way up until Christmas eve it felt like forever for the magical time to get here.  Well.... when Christmas morning was finally here, I was always woken by my parents (I am not a morning person) and I can tell you that our daughter is the same way.  She slept until 8:30 a.m. on Christmas morning.  Once we got up and she had her bottle it was time to open gifts.  I (mommy) had to open the gifts for Jaydyn since the only thing she was interested in was the wrapping paper and a little box from Piercing Pagoda.  She crawled all over the floor around the tree and was as happy as a lark.

The Friday after Christmas Chad and I made the 4 hour drive up to Lizella, GA to do Christmas with his family.  We went to his grandmothers house and it was great to see the grandparents and his greatgrandma spending time together.

New Years Eve was bitter sweet for me and Chad.  My mom volunteered to watch Jaydyn while we went out to celebrate the New Years.  Mom came over around 6 p.m. and we ate Chineese for dinner then gave Jaydyn a bottle and she was out.  We left the house around 9 p.m. (by taxi) and by midnight I was calling  taxi for them to take us back home.  We decided that we needed to be home with our newest family member and ring in the new year with her.  We got home around 12:30 a.m. and we were in bed by 1 a.m. Eventhough Jaydyn was still a sleep, we felt better knowing that we were with family and that we were all safe and sound.

The next morning I woke up around 8 a.m. and decided that it was finally time to take down the Christmas tree :(.   My mom had stayed the night (since we didnt want her to have to drive home with all of the drunks on the road for New Years Eve) so she helped me take down the tree.  It is a tradition that I have tried to follow since Chad and I moved in together.  We put the tree up the first weekend of December and take it down on January 1st.

Back to work on the 2nd and a promise of a good New Year.  I have decided to pursue my side-business a bit further and advertise a bit more of my services.  Here is my new logo:
So far this year I have completed an order that was sent to Kansas and I have two more orders to start on.  Chad and I both have started back to school in the hopes of completing our degrees ASAP.

With it being a new year, Jaydyn gets a new hair-do.  We went for the pig-tails.  I LOVE THEM!!

The pig-tails were such a success that we ROCKED them at daycare the next day

Jaydyn has learned how to crawl (FAST) and is not suffering from any rug burn on her nose.

Month 9 photos were challenging.  Laying her down and actually getting her to leave the sticker on her onseie was a battle of its own.
