March has started off great! We kick started the month with Chads Birthday (wont say how old, other than OLD.... LOL)! Had dinner at a Japanese Steakhouse and Jaydyn loved the soup so much that we ordered her two bowls and she finished off the second bowl by tipping it up (extra high)!

May 21, 2014- Sadly the day has come. After talking to Miss Angie (school teacher) she stated that Jaydyn was doing great with her Pull-Ups and that we could bring BIG GIRL Panties when we were ready (gasp!!!). So that afternoon we went to Target and got her two packs. The problem was that they were extremely picked over and all Jaydyn wanted was the Monsters Inc., Despicable Me, or Marvel Comic's characters (unfortunately those were boys underwear). I did have to tell her no and convince her to get the Tinkerbell panties, but she was not 100% happy about her decision.

May 28, 2014- Ready to head to school

May 29, 2014- Grandma Hendricks has butterfly cocoons and it just so happens that one of the butterflies was ready to be released the day she was over there. She was having fun with Grandpa and holding the butterfly.

May 30, 2014- With an impromptu trip to the Alligator Farm (thanks to daddy), we capture some good pictures of Jaydyn and daddy.

May 31, 2014- NEVER QUIT NEVER @ Jacksonville Beach, Florida
This was officially Jaydyns first 5k run (well she was in the jogging stroller). We got down to the beach earlier that day to attend the Expo and made it a full day. The race started at 5pm and before we passed the start line, Jaydyn was already sleeping.....

This was a tough race, but we made it through. The promise of hard packed beach sand was far from the truth. The sand was wet and mushy and there was a large slant in the beach. This made it extremely difficult to run (at an acceptable pace) by pushing a jogging stroller through wet sand. Thank goodness Justina was there to trade out the pushing with me.
